This whole week will be self-portraits....that will be interesting! I really dont like being in front of the camera, I'd rather be the person behind it pushing the button! I am going to have to get really creative this week to stay on topic without taking another ugly mugshot!

Day 59: Looking up!

Some crazy weather today! When I got off work in the afternoon, it went from extremly windy to a strong downpoor to hail and then to really bright sunshine with a double rainbow! I ran as fast as I could to get my camera and was able to catch them both of them but since they had already started to fade you really have to look for them (the one on the bottom I can see better than the one on top)

Today item was the doorknob! And this is what happens to an almost 60 year old iron door when a 50 lbs 7 year likes to hang of the door knob to swing the door open.....ugh!

Todays item was the cell phone! Hunter has been into texting lately, he constantly sneaks off with my cell phone to txt his mamaw and also sends me txts sometimes while I am at work with his daddys phone. It sure puts a smile on my face though when I am busy at work and he sends me a txt saying that he loves me :)

Todays object was the TV...not a big fan, just cant get creative with it! So I basically just took a snapshot of real life...with all the glare from the window while my son plays Harry Potter on the Wii!

Its the last day of this theme and I am having a hard time finding something interesting in my back yard to take a pic of! This picture I guess could be also categorized under "self portraits" but this is part of my back yard, so I though "why not"!

Isn't my back yard pretty? UGH so tired of seeing rain and snow in my yard! Dont get me wrong, I do appreciate the rain that makes my yard grow, but we keep getting so much that my yard floods! Cant even walk though my back yard because apparantly we now have water front property!

Crocuses! I love them so much, those are the first flowers to pop up in my yard and I have lots of them everywhere!

I figured since the only children I have posted for this weeks theme where my own, I need to at least have one day where I post a different one. This beautiful little angel is one of my best friends little girl. My 2 have adopted her as their little sister. I love watching them interact with each other!

Fridays are a bit crazy and did not really have time for pictures, so I will post the one I took of my little princess this morning with my "diaper bag camera" at school when she got her award for student of the month . One proud mama I tell ya!

Judging from other peoples projects, the letter C seems to be the easiest to find! This is actually my picture from Monday, but did not get a chance to post it until just now. Will post todays in a little bit as well.

Day 18: Guilty Pleasures

If you'd ask me which toy is the best toy ever made, I would say LEGO's! As a child and even now as an adult I love them and still enjoy building with them with my kids! At night when the kids are asleep you might even catch me put some of these together.

Took this one of one of my obvious guilty pleasures with my XTi, which was weird, because I have not used that camera in probably 2 years! It is so much smaller than my 30D and I can tell a huge diffence in quality!

Day 16: Guilty Pleasures

I love doing home improvement! If I only had the money, I would redo everything in my house! One of my favorites though which will do such a big difference and is relatively cheap is painting. I love how a bucket of paint can make the yuckiest looking walls look new again! Right now I am painting my sons room, it looked horrible before! I just painted it 3 years ago, but he was not very kind to the walls!
